HIV tests are now available for patients at Lakeside. The test is only a finger print test and takes about 2 minutes.

If you could be at risk, make an appointment at reception to see a nurse.

DON’T FORGET EARLY DIAGNOSIS OFTEN SAVES LIVES.

Breast cancer in women over 70 is on the increase and we want to encourage women to keep examining themselves and report any lumps to us as soon as possible.

It is possible these days to survive breast cancer with early diagnosis.

All women over 70 who are having a Flu jab will be given a leaflet and a short chat about cancer of the breast. Otherwise you can always see your GP or the Nurse Practitioner.
